Agile Flow (Via Zoom)

A fusion of movements inspired by Pilates, Barre and Animal Flow to take the body through positions to build strength, improve mobility and incorporate joint stabilization. As you might be familiar with Pilates and Barre, we use the basic movements partnered with mindful breathing to focus on correct core musculature usage and lumbopelvic hip strengthening to protect our vertebral spine, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles. Animal Flow is using one's own body weight to increase mobility by actively engaging and lengthening through multiple joints at the same time and stability by incorporating isometric holds. Agile Flow is for you to enjoy 45 minutes of moving freely and with purpose!

Agile Physical Therapy and Sutter Health are not liable for any injuries sustained during the participation of this class. This class open to PAMF patients and community members.

You should consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs. This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of, but not limited to, high blood pressure or heart disease, or if you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese, or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in physical activity. Do not start this fitness program if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately.
