Childbirth Preparation - 1 Session (Virtual) |
This comprehensive one session Virtual class is intended for help prepare expectant mothers and their chosen labor support person for the process of birth.
Our certified Mills-Peninsula childbirth educator will cover the stages of labor, hospital procedures, medications, cesarean birth, birthing options and postpartum recovery using video, lecture and group discussion.
Couples will engage in active practice of physical comfort techniques such as breathing, positioning and massage as well as emotional comfort techniques.
A virtual tour of the Family Birth Center and materials created specifically for this Mills-Peninsula class are included.
Ideally this class should be completed between 32-36 weeks of pregnancy so couples have time to practice relaxation, breathing, and massage techniques.
