eClass - Understanding Birth (online) ABSMC eClass - Understanding Birth (online)ABSMC Berkeley Our self-paced, eClass offers information on labor, comfort techniques, hospital procedures, postpartum and more. Videos, animation and interactive exercises encourage active partnerships between women and their support persons while creating confidence for their upcoming birth. Along with the online content, students will have phone access to our experienced educators to answer questions about the class and our birth center at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. It is a wonderful opportunity to receive reassuring, accurate information from a local childbirth educator. A welcome email invitation will be sent within 3 business days of completing the online registration process. When registering, choose the date of the current month. You will have access to the class for 9 months from the day you first access the material. Allow 4-6 hours to complete the course.
